Fitnesstracker
Xiaomi’s new Smart Band 9 Pro is now available via Amazon. What does the fitness tracker offer for around 80 euros?
Xiaomi only introduced the Smart Band 9 Pro in China at the end of October, now it is a wearable via Amazon also available here. However, the delivery time is currently given as one to three months. The price is around 80 euros and is therefore slightly higher than its predecessor, which is currently available for around 57 euros. But for the additional price, the fitness tracker should also bring some improvements. A look at the details.
Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro: Bright AMOLED display with curves
The 1.74-inch AMOLED display is one of the highlights of the new Smart Band 9 Pro. With a resolution of 336 x 480 pixels and a peak brightness of a maximum of 1,200 nits, the display should offer brilliant colors and good readability – even in sunlight. The refresh rate is 60 Hz. The glass is elegantly rounded at the edges, Xiaomi calls it 2.5D glass. This makes the design look chic and modern.
Whether it’s running training or laps in the pool – thanks to over 150 sports modes, all fitness activities can be tracked. With a GNSS module on board, users can also record their routes precisely without a smartphone. The wearable can also withstand a test pressure of 5 ATM, so it can also be worn while swimming.
21 days battery life and smart sensors
According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts up to 21 days – but only if used sparingly. If you leave the display activated all the time, you will have to expect significantly less runtime. According to Xiaomi, the sensors have also been improved. Both heart rate and oxygen saturation measurements should be more precise than before, and an electric compass is also on board. NFC support rounds off the features.
