The Xiaomi Watch S4 is the latest smartwatch from the Chinese manufacturer and is currently only available in China. But the watch should also make it into the EU.
Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Watch S4 – which, despite its round shape, is definitely reminiscent of the Apple Watch. Because just like its Apple counterpart, Xiaomi now relies on a crown on the right side. In addition, the Watch S4 can now be controlled with gestures – for example with a flick. This is also already known from the newer Apple Watches. What you don’t know from Apple: the battery of the Watch S4 lasts up to 15 days!
And otherwise? Bracelets and bezels can be customized and are available in different colors, the display brightness is a very good 1,500 nits, GPS is built in and 150 different sports modes are intended to support athletes. Whether it’s heart rate, stress, sleep quality or blood oxygen saturation: the Xiaomi Watch S4 can monitor it all.
HyperOS 2 is used as the operating system, which supports, among other things, the control of integrated smart home applications. An NFC chip is also installed. The catch? The Xiaomi Watch S4 is currently only announced for China and costs around 130 euros there. Since the Xiaomi Watch S3 is also available in Germany, we are currently assuming a later launch in the EU.
