Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Watch 5 Active smart watch in the Indian market. Last week we managed to find out that they will also make their way to European countries. We now have concrete details regarding availability in the Czech Republic, so we can confirm that it will actually come to us tooa to s very friendly price.
We discovered the Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 Active in the catalog of the seller Alza, where it can already be purchased pre-order for 999 CZK – so we estimated the price correctly in the previous article. The watches are listed in versions Matte Silver (silver body, gray strap) a Midnight Black (black body, black strap).
The watch is dominated by nothing but theirs 2 inch display with 500 nit brightness. Unfortunately, it only uses LCD technology and a somewhat lower resolution of 320×385 pixels, but considering the price, we can’t complain too much. However, the fact that the construction of the Redmi Watch 5 Active consists of zinc alloynot ordinary plastic.
The Redmi Watch 5 Active further tries to entice the 18-day shelf lifemore than 140 modes for tracking sports activity. Interestingly, Alza mentions 5 ATM certificationwhich the Indian arm of Xiaomi does not mention anywhere. Personally, I would be surprised if our version was better than the original, which is only resistant to the IPX8 standard.
We expect the Redmi Watch 5 Active to arrive on store shelves alongside the Xiaomi 14T series that will launch globally September 26.
