Yandex introduced an analogue of ChatGPT. YandexGPT 4 language models now respond better in 70% of cases

Yandex has launched a new generation of language models YandexGPT 4 Lite and Pro. The company reported this to iPhones.ru.

They answer questions twice as fast, are able to reason and process up to 60 pages of text. In terms of response quality, YandexGPT 4 Pro is 70% better than previous Yandex language models. The company claims that in answers to open questions, YandexGPT 4 Pro is at the level of the OpenAI GPT-4o language model (which underlies ChatGPT).

Before answering a complex question, YandexGPT 4 breaks the problem down into several simple ones and solves them step by step, building a chain of reasoning. For example, the new model is able to study a customer complaint, understand the problem and offer a way out of the situation.

YandexGPT 4 Lite and Pro are already available as an API in Yandex Cloud for corporate users. Some functions are still in test modes. Lite is suitable for simple scenarios where speed of response is important, while Pro is more suitable for complex tasks, such as sales analysis.
