“Yandex Market” intends to develop a direction with goods from the middle to luxury price segments. The company on HeadHunter is looking for a project manager for the “premium vertical”, found out “Kommersant”.
- “Department Store” appeared in April 2022. Initially, it was called RUM and sold only local brands. The service displays store windows in such a way that it is convenient to look at them one by one – similar to regular offline department stores.
- Later, the online department store began offering premium and luxury brands. Until now, the service has worked with clothes, shoes and accessories of the middle and mass segments.
Experts say the demand for premium goods in Russia remains unmet after most foreign luxury retailers left the country. However, it will take time for new brands to win the trust of consumers accustomed to buying expensive items.
