Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor Choi Ho-kwon is making lunch boxes to support single-person households with the volunteer association, youth volunteer group, and district executives at the Yeongdeungpo-dong shared kitchen ‘Hamkkeukkuk’ on the morning of the 20th.

In order to support young single-person households who are experiencing difficulties such as unemployment, rental fraud, and isolation, the district will make lunch boxes consisting of healthy food such as ‘chicken breast salad’ and ‘fruit’ and deliver them to 100 single-person households in the region.

In particular, the young people participating in this event are young people who have been donating their talents through cooking classes and sharing food, and they are showing camaraderie with their peers, which is even more touching.

Yeongdeungpo-gu District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon said, “It is heartbreaking to see that our young people, who will lead a hopeful future, are experiencing various social difficulties.” He added, “We will actively support young people, the pillars of our society, by creating quality jobs and eradicating rental fraud, so that they can dream of and realize a hopeful future.”
