The bigger the Yettel Full telecommunications tariff package that includes all kinds of services, the bigger the discount, and you don’t have to worry about cables either.
On October 22, the green mobile service provider launched its comprehensive service package under the name Yettel Full. Telephone, internet and TV service packages, which have long been available from competing service providers, enjoy overwhelming popularity in Hungary: according to a 2023 survey, 94% of households use more than one such service, and 38.1% use four at the same time: TV, mobile phone, internet and landline phone.
This was not available at Yettel until now, but since the OtthonNet service and Yettel TV have been a stable player in the company’s offer for some time, it was only a matter of time before the service provider came forward with a complex solution package.
Yettel Full
The market is very saturated, and Yettel is also aware of this, but when creating the Full package, they tried not to make the mistakes experienced and most often complained about by competitors. One of the results of this is that the Full package is not fixed, i.e. the discounted monthly fee is not only applicable if the user subscribes to everything at once,
the necessary services can be selected as desired.
The flexibility comes with matching pricing and a discount system, and the package can also include home internet service, mobile subscription and TV broadcasting. It is not necessary for all of these to be included in the package, i.e. two mobile subscriptions (Yettel Prime) can be a Yettel Full package, but there can be two OtthonNet, etc. The discount is applied in the following bands:
- two services: 15%
- three services: 20%
- four or more services: 30%
You can achieve all this on Yettel’s 5G network, which has improved a lot this year as well. It currently operates 890 5G (C-band, i.e. capable of full gigabit) towers, which means that the outdoor 5G gigabit coverage of big cities is almost complete (40% in more than 240 settlements). In the case of the completely cable-free OtthonNet, which creates cable home internet access, 55% is 5G, and these are all for the C-band version, which means that in theory a speed of 1 Gbit/s is also available. Of course, internet access is unlimited in this case, there is no data traffic limit.
The flexibility of the Yettel Full subscription includes the fact that there is no loyalty period, and there is no need to count on installation. If someone visits a Yettel store, after some paperwork, they can leave with a complete telecommunications package, which only takes a few minutes to set up. This includes mobile, television (with set-top box) and home internet access.
According to the company, it does not monitor whether the users of the individual services are related to each other, or whether they have the same address, so even a larger family or group of friends can join the Yettel Full package. However, a suspended service is not included in the discount calculation, you cannot add any Yettel mobile tariff to the Full package and to activate (order) the package you have to go to a Yettel store in person, everything cannot be done online. You can also subscribe to a streaming service with Yettel (even at a discount as part of the package), but for now only Max is available, further expansion in this area is still to be seen.
