French tennis player Alexandre Müller was not enough against Kazakh Denis Jevsej, with whom he lost at the tournament in Badstad 5:7, 5:7. The fight had a disgusting ending. The bettor, who apparently lost a lot of money, contacted Müller, to whom he addressed threats.
“You will die, I will shoot you in the head,” was the beginning of the message published by the tennis player on the social network.
Müller was a big favorite in the match at the tournament in Sweden with the Kazakh tennis player.
The odds for the Frenchman to win were 1.15. The odds for his opponent’s victory were 5. This is probably why the bettor went for safety, which did not work out for him in this case.
In addition to a threatening message, he sent the Frenchman a photo with a gun.
The match itself did not appear to be rigged, which is probably what the punter was alluding to. Both sets were won by the Kazakh in a dramatic ending.
It is sad, however, that tennis players encounter similar attacks quite often.
