Ciprian Tătărușanu recently spoke about Gigi Becali’s plans at FCSB and revealed how the landowner from Pipera can destroy a footballer worth five million euros.

The former international gave a clear verdict and revealed that he went through a similar situation, during the period when he played for the current champion of Romania.

Gigi Becali solved the problem the transfer of Lukas Zima. The landowner from Pipera transferred him to the goalkeeper from Petrolul Ploiești in exchange for the sum of 250,000 euros, but the move is not viewed favorably by everyone. Ciprian Tătărușanu believes that this transfer could destroy Ștefan Târnovanu, the starter in the FCSB goal.

The former international revealed that he went through a similar situation during his time at the current champion of Romania, when the team was prepared by Cristiano Bergodi, who used to use Ciprian Tătărușanu and Zapata in turn.

“There were several factors to the turbulent period of my early years at FCSB. For example, in the first season there was also Zapata, and Cristiano Bergodi tried to alternate us, to play one match each or two matches each. It was a mistake, you have to give continuity to a goalkeeper.

Competition is good, but you can’t have two goalkeepers of the same age and of the same value in one team at the same time. Then you “kill” one of them! Or both may suffer.

You have to feel that good fear, to say: “Guys, let’s be focused, let’s train well, because I’m out of the team if I make 2-3 mistakes! This is preparing well, it takes my place and goodbye to my future!». Competition is good, but don’t alternate goalkeepers, under no circumstances!

Lukas Zima signed with FCSB

Lukas Zima, goalkeeper who arrived at Petrolul Ploiești in the summer of 2023, is having a very good season. The performances he had attracted the attention of several clubs from the Romanian Superliga, and ProSport exclusively revealed that he has already signed a contract with FCSBvalid for a period of three years.

In the first season at the Romanian champion, Zima will receive a monthly salary of 10,000 euros, with the amount expected to increase in the next two years of the contract.

Gigi Becali paid 250,000 euros in exchange for the “Yellow Wolves” goalkeeper.
