You will never lose photos again. Google Photos is a real firecracker!

A few weeks ago, Google created a list to which anyone who wanted to test the new option could sign up: Ask Photos. Now the option has been made available to the first users in the United States.

The new Google Photos option goes to the first users

We first heard about the “Ask photos” option a few weeks ago. Then Google started creating a list to which all users willing to test the new function could join. Now it is being gradually made available. Unfortunately, at this time only for users from the United States.

And how does it work in practice? Google promised us a tool powered by advanced artificial intelligence algorithms that will allow us to ask questions of the platform in a natural way. Searching a local library – especially one that has been built over several or a dozen years – may turn out to be quite problematic. This is where the search engine comes in handy – thanks to the new option, it becomes even more convenient to use. We can ask her specific questions – for example, asking her to show us photos from holidays over the years.

Google Photos search has always been good. Now it rises to a whole new level

The first users can now interact with the local chatbot, whose task is to answer all users’ questions. The answers, of course, come in the form of multimedia from our library. Editorial staff 9to5Google already has access to the new option – and showed how it works in practice. The author of the article tested queries such as “when did I move into my house” and “when was the last time I met Andrew”. These are quite complex queries that photos handled really well. And as with chatbots – you can also narrow down the results by specifying your queries more precisely.

Google Photos has had the best search engine on the market for years. But now it’s getting even better – and it looks like the internet giant has managed to create an option that takes their platform to an even higher level. Honestly? I can’t wait for it to be made available to a wider range of users. And above all: he will leave the United States.
