Poco is launching a new range of smartphones that includes the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro. The pair promises powerful hardware, cutting-edge technology and sleek design, making it an enticing choice for young tech enthusiasts. With this step, the brand is trying to reach users looking for a reliable smartphone with high performance and durability at a favorable price.
Poco X7 & X7 Pro: Performance in the main role
The main star of the new series is the Poco X7 Pro, which is equipped with the latest Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, a chipset designed with an emphasis on performance and energy efficiency. Thanks to 4nm manufacturing technology and All-Big-Core architecture, it achieves up to 54% higher CPU performance and 70% better graphics than its predecessor. Added to this is a 50% improvement in artificial intelligence (AI) performance, making the Poco X7 Pro ideal for multitasking, gaming and demanding applications.
The Poco X7 is not far behind, offering a Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset that boasts an AnTuTu score of over 700,000 points. Both models run on the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 system, which brings a smooth user experience and a number of optimizations thanks to WildBoost Optimization 3.0 technology. This technology stabilizes the frame rate, improves the network connection and improves the audiovisual experience, which will be appreciated mainly by gamers and multimedia fans.

Poco X7 Pro is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh, which is historically the highest capacity in the portfolio. Thanks to the 90W HyperCharge technology, the phone can be charged to full capacity in just 42 minutes. The Poco X7 model has a battery with a capacity of 5110 mAh and supports 45W TurboCharge. Both models are designed to still offer over 80% capacity after 1600 charge cycles, ensuring long life and reliability.
Smart Charging Engine technology ensures safer charging thanks to automatic regulation of temperature and charging speed. Poco X7 phones are also resistant to extreme conditions. The Poco X7 Pro can be charged even at -25°C and the Poco X7 allows up to 24 hours of talk time at -10°C.
Large display and superior durability
The design of Poco X7 phones emphasizes elegance and functionality. Both models are equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness reaches up to 3200 nits for the Poco X7 Pro and 3000 nits for the POCO X7, which guarantees great readability even in direct sunlight.
The display is protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the Poco X7 Pro and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Poco X7. Both models are IP68 certified, which means protection against dust and water. In addition, Poco X7 brings an innovative 3D curved display that improves the overall grip and comfort of use.

Cameras
The photographic capabilities of the Poco X7 series are supported by a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization. This sensor ensures sharp images even in low light. The Poco X7 is also equipped with a 2MPx macro lens for close-up shots. There is a 20Mpx selfie camera on the front, which offers detailed and clear photos taken directly for social networks.
Also new is the Dynamic Shots function, which can capture fast movement without blurring, which is especially appreciated by sports enthusiasts or parents who want to take action pictures of their children. Another innovative feature is UltraSnap, which ensures sharp photos even in low light conditions. Users will also appreciate the Director Mode with the ability to manually adjust exposure and color tone, giving more creative control over videos.
AI functions such as AI Erase Pro to remove unwanted objects or AI Image Expansion to save poorly composed images also advance creative possibilities. In addition, the Poco X7 Pro supports 4K video at 60 fps, while the Poco X7 allows recording in 4K, but only at 30 fps.

The Poco X7 and X7 Pro models bring a number of AI functions that increase productivity and simplify everyday tasks. AI Interpreter enables real-time translation of conversations, which is useful for international calls or meetings.
AI Notes automatically summarizes important points from notes and recordings, while AI Recorder can transcribe audio recordings with high accuracy. Thanks to these tools, Poco phones become not only powerful devices, but also practical helpers for work, travel and study. Additional AI options are provided by the support of the Google Gemini application.

The Poco X7 Pro model is available at a price of CZK 9,999 in black, green and yellow color variants. While the Poco X7 model in the colors silver, green and black and in the 8GB + 256GB variant will cost CZK 6,999. As part of the introductory prices, from January 9 to 15, 2025, the Poco X7 Pro can be purchased for CZK 8,999. The second Poco X7 model in the 8GB + 256GB variant costs CZK 6,299, and the 12GB + 512GB variant of the same model is available for CZK 7,199.
