Youth dies in Mirsarai due to electrocution – Daily Azadi

A laborer named Asif Mahmood (21) died after being electrocuted by an electrical short circuit while working at a poultry farm in Mirsarai.

This incident took place in the post office area of ​​Ward No. 9 of Wahedpur Union No. 15 of Upazila at 2:30 PM on Sunday (October 20).

Deceased Asif is the son of Abul Hossain of Munsi Mia New Bari of Wahedpur Union.

Local resident Riyad Hossain said that Asif fell to the ground due to an electrical short circuit while working on his friend’s poultry farm on Sunday afternoon. Later he was rescued and taken to Sitakunda Upazila Health Complex where the doctor declared him dead. He was buried in the family cemetery after the funeral on Sunday evening.

Nizampur Police Investigation Center Sub-Inspector (SI) Mominul Islam confirmed the matter and said that Asif Mahmud died due to short circuit while working as a poultry farm worker. Following the written request of the family, his body has been handed over to the family.
