A young man died due to electrocution in Rangunia, Chittagong. The incident took place near the KBS Convention Club in Ranirhat Bazar of the upazila on Friday (December 27) noon.
Name of the deceased. Rubel (26). He is from the same area. Rafiq’s son. On receiving the information, Rangunia fire service personnel went to the spot and recovered his body.
Rangunia station officer of fire service. Jahedur Rahman confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the deceased Rubel was working on the Wi-Fi connection of the CC camera. He accidentally got caught in an electric wire. He said that he died of electrocution there.
Rangunia police station OC Sabbir Mohammad Salim said that the body was recovered and brought to the police station. It will be autopsied. He said that necessary legal action will be taken in this regard.
