Yuhan University announced on the 14th that the Department of Fashion Design and the Department of Health and Welfare obtained the highest grade, S grade, in the operational diagnosis evaluation of the bachelor’s degree in-depth major course (4th year) hosted by the Korea Association of Colleges and Universities.
The Professional Education Association introduced an operational diagnosis system starting in 2020. In order to continuously improve the university’s autonomous efforts and performance and comprehensively manage educational quality, we are conducting an operation diagnosis of the bachelor’s degree in-depth major course.
A total of 15 diagnostic indicators are evaluated, including five areas: performance of university major in-depth course promotion, university major in-depth course operation and committee, department operation organization and support, department education operation, and department education performance.
Yuhan University’s Department of Fashion Design and Department of Health and Welfare all received perfect scores in ▲performance compared to the university’s major in-depth course operation plan ▲support for faculty and staff competency development education ▲department education quality control ▲amount of support for laboratory training per student ▲ratio of scholarships to student tuition.
According to Yuhan University, the Department of Fashion Design conducted a systematic curriculum with excellent professors with the goal of nurturing global leaders in the fashion industry. The Department of Health and Welfare received high scores for having a faculty composed of social welfare experts and providing courses for obtaining national certification in the field of social services.
