China’s Zeekr (part of Geely) announces the new electric station wagon 007 GT, which will be available in four variants.
More precisely, Smart RWD, Long-Range RWD, Smart AWD and Performance AWD versions are planned, with the cheapest in China likely to cost 209,900 yuan (27,590 euros).
The Zeekr 007 GT is a derivative of the 007 sedan, so it adopts the same front end design, ensuring visual consistency. The biggest difference is, of course, in the different rear part, with increased cargo space and more space for passengers in the back.
The 007 GT shares its platform and powertrain configuration with the 007 sedan. The rear-wheel drive version has a single engine with 310 kW/422 hp, and reaches 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The all-wheel drive version combines a 165 kW/224 hp front engine and a 310 kW/422 hp rear engine, with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.84 seconds.
The model works on Zeek’s 800 V electrical architecture, which supports fast charging. Depending on configuration, battery options include LFP and NMC types, offering a range between 616 km and 870 km (on the Chinese CLTC cycle). The charging options allow the range to be increased by 500 km within 15 minutes.
The premiere of the 007 GT model is scheduled for the second quarter of this year.
