Zeekr closed 2024 in the Netherlands by introducing a completely new electric SUV for our market: the 7X. The Zeekr 7X has existed in China for a while, but from this year it can also be seen on the road in the Netherlands. The Zeekr 7X is a sister model of the sedan, which is not available in Europe, and is called 007 in its home country China. The Zeekr 007 gets another derivative: the 7 GT. Or the 007 GT, depending on where you are. The international branch of Zeekr explicitly calls the new model ‘7 GT’, while the Chinese branch of Zeekr refers to the car as 007 GT. Zeekr’s international department may already be anticipating the fact that a model name with 007 in it is probably not very popular with the owners of the James Bond trademark rights. They were previously not very pleased with the small Peugeot that was initially supposed to be called 007, but which would eventually be marketed as 1007. In any case, we do not have much information about the 7 GT/007 GT yet. Up to the B-pillar, it appears identical to the 007 (Sedan), which suggests that the technology also corresponds to that model. The Zeekr 007 is available in China as a 421 hp rear-wheel drive with a 75 kWh battery and as a 646 hp four-wheel drive with a 100 kWh battery. According to the Chinese measuring cycle, they travel 688 and 870 kilometers on a full battery. Unfortunately, it is not yet known whether and when the Zeekr 7 GT will come our way. Would you like to see him in the Netherlands?
