Zelenskiy: If the US cuts aid, we will lose the war

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy made a statement to the US-based Fox news channel.

Evaluating the latest situation regarding the war in Ukraine, which has exceeded a thousand days, Zelenskiy expressed that he was worried about the disintegration of the unity formed against Russia. Stating that the early days of the war were the most difficult period, Zelenskiy said, “However, I think the period we are in depends on our unity in Ukraine. The most dangerous thing now is that we lose the unity in Europe and, most importantly, the unity between Ukraine and the USA.”

Arguing that the only way to end the war is diplomacy, Zelenskiy said, “I am truly sure that from today onwards, ending the war depends on Putin. He can do it. He can want it and he can end this war.” Pointing out that the end of the war depends more on the attitude of the United States, Zelenskiy said, “Putin is weaker than the United States. The US President has power, powers and weapons. It can reduce the price of energy resources. “I heard signals in the media that Trump could reduce the prices of energy resources and oil, and this needs to be done,” he said.

“Trump is stronger than Putin”

Evaluating the possibility of Donald Trump, who was elected as the new US President, to end the war, Zelenskiy said, “This will not be simple, but if the US uses all the issues in its hands, yes, it can. Because he is much stronger than Putin. The United States is stronger.” “The economy is stronger and the USA has a huge influence,” he said.

Speaking about the US military aid to Kiev, Zelenskiy said: “If they cut off the aid, I think we will lose. Of course, we will stay and fight in any case. We produce, but it is not enough to win. It is not enough to survive. However, this is the choice of the USA.” “If it is going to happen, we will decide what we need to do,” he said.
