Zelensky presents “victory plan” in US – War in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the United States on Sunday night to present his “victory plan” in the war against Russia, warning that decisions made this fall “will be decisive” in the outcome of the conflict.

Zelensky, who began by visiting a weapons factory in Pennsylvania, intends to present his plan to President Joe Biden, Congress and the two candidates for the November presidential election, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Without revealing too much, the Ukrainian president revealed in recent days that his “victory plan” consists of five points, four of which are related to “what Ukraine needs” and one to the situation “after the end of the war”. Regarding the first, Zelensky said that they are related to the future “security architecture” in the region, namely possible security guarantees from Western allies, and “decisions regarding the situation on the battlefield”, including the incursion into Kursk.

It is worth remembering that for months Kiev has been trying to convince its allies to allow the use of long-range missiles to attack Russian territory. “All these points depend on Biden,” Zelensky admitted, urging Western partners to help Ukraine achieve a “truly fair” peace.
